ESTIMATOR & PROJECT MANAGER
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced estimator and project manager. In this dual role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and managing projects from start to completion.
Responsibilities:
As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of our hardscaping projects.
ESTIMATION

Conduct detailed assessments of project requirements, including site visits, measurements, and analysis of project specifications

Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand their needs and vision for the project

Calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs to prepare accurate project estimates

Utilize cost databases, historical data, and industry standards to determine pricing for various hardscaping elements

Prepare and submit comprehensive and competitive bids to clients in a timely manner
TEAM COLLABORATION

Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of hardscaping plans

Provide guidance and support to field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure their understanding of project requirements and adherence to quality standards

Facilitate effective communication and coordination between all project stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment
PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Oversee and manage multiple hardscaping projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications

Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and materials procurement

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them

Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, resolve construction-related challenges, and ensure adherence to safety standards

Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports

Track project costs and monitor budgetary constraints to ensure profitability.

Foster positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project
REQUIREMENTS

Background in landscape architecture, construction management, or related field (preferred)

Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail

Ability to interpret complex project requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel to project sites as required

Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

Valid driver's license
